Security Accessories
According to information obtained from Police blotters, more than 50% of all break-ins happen through windows and doors, especially glass patio and French doors. Most are in fact, committed by occasional thieves and vandals who come prepared to face most obstacles. Aluminum, foam filled and extruded aluminum security shutters put up an optimal resistance against force attempts and have been proven to be an effective barrier against break-ins. Rollup offers a large range of accessories which can be installed within the roll shutter curtain that can avoid lifting and/or unhinging of the roll shutter from the side guide rails which dramatically increases the security of your home against most thefts.

LOCKING SYSTEMS FOR END SLATS
Aluminum or Steel Security Latch
Composed of a specially formed aluminum or steel bar and a PVC anti-slide handle. Fixed on end slats TE7X56 and TE14X56 (except univesal type) without any further labor, due to the particular form of the end slat; manually operated and introduced into the wall and lateral guide rails, avoids bottom lifting of the rolling shutter. Also available in versions for intermediate profiles (suggested for profiles TE12X55 and ES/37).
REINFORCED STEEL SECURITY LATCH
Composed of a steel bar and a locking handle, fixed on the end slat 14X56 (standard – inversion – universal) specially worked. Manually operated and introduced into the wall and lateral guide rails, avoids bottom lifting of the rolling shutter.
KEY LOCK
The thumb-lock (with knob) operated from the inside and the key-lock operated both from the inside and the outside can be fixed both on the TE14X56 (except for the “universal” type). Composed of two aluminum bars, this latch enters firstly into the guide rails and secondly into the wall, preventing any undesired shutter rising.
INTERMEDIATE STEEL LOCKING SYSTEMS
On profile slat fixed (with a special working) at required rolling shutter height, can be used for 55mm profiles (SAR/155, SAR/155A, AR/55, AR/55A). It is manually operated and introduced into the wall and lateral guide rails, avoids bottom lifting of the rolling shutter.
AUTOMATIC LOCKING SYSTEMS
Available in different versions for 44mm and 55mm profiles, fixed on roll tube and on upper rolling shutter’s profile (every 50 cm) usable with crank and motor operations. It engages automatically when the shutter is in the closed position keeping the shutter from being pulled open from the bottom.
